CALL FOR PEACE AND UNITY 

The Atiku Abubakar Peace and Unity Supporters Movement of Nigeria (AAPUSMON), with deep trust and high respect for our religious leaders, traditional institutions, and security agencies, sincerely acknowledges and appreciates their continued contributions toward sustaining peace, stability, and unity in our dear nation.
We commend their selfless efforts in promoting harmony and national development and respectfully encourage them to sustain and further strengthen these efforts in the interest of our collective future.

 We humbly appeal that all duties and responsibilities continue to be carried out with fairness, justice, and without discrimination based on religion, region, or tribe, as unity remains the foundation for Nigeria’s progress.

Furthermore, AAPUSMON calls on all citizens and political actors across the country to reject hate speech, political violence, and divisive rhetoric at all levels, from grassroots communities to national leadership. Democracy thrives only where peace, tolerance, and respect for the rule of law prevail.

We urge all political parties and stakeholders to conduct their campaigns within the constitutional framework, ensuring that every citizen is free to participate peacefully and exercise their franchise in forthcoming elections without fear or intimidation.
Peaceful participation, mutual respect, and lawful engagement are essential for the success, unity, and stability of Nigeria.
Together, let us protect the peace and unity of our nation for present and future generations.

PRESS STATEMENT ELECTORAL ACT: ADC ACCUSES SENATE, HOUSE OF DELAY TACTICS Nigeria’s opposition party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has accused the APC-dominated Senate of employing delay tactics in passing the 2025 Electoral Bill. In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC highlighted various amendments to the Electoral Act 2022 that carry serious eligibility and compliance risks for political parties if not enacted on time. PRESS STATEMENT ADC Condemns Attempted Arrest of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Warns Against Escalating Pattern of Political Intimidation The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has condemned the attempt by security operatives to arrest former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, at an airport without presenting a warrant, warning that the move raises serious concerns about due process and political neutrality.
